Naturally Beautiful Moments: Week 3
My daughter's adorbale, tiny hands helping me mix pizza dough for dinner one night.
A salad made with watermelon, cucumbers, avocado, mint and a squeeze of lime juice and a sprinkling of sesame seeds. The meals that directly follow the farmer's market are always my favorite ones of the week.
When you live in Southern California, you go to the beach a lot. I mean, come on.
I spent some time in jail the other night....
Coconut oil "latte" on the deck at sunrise. My husband got me into these a while back and I am totally hooked. The coconut oil gives the coffee a lovely richness and the blend of healthy fats and caffeine gives me a nice boost in the morning that helps keep my energy even keeled during the day. To make it, prepare your coffee like normal (for me it is a bit of almond milk and a little coconut sugar) and throw it into the blender with 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil. Blend and pour back into your mug. It's delicious and frothy. I add a dash of cinnamon for extra yum.
